How do I reserve an item?
Fill out the form and someone will get back to you on the availability of the item.
How accurate are the locations listed for items?
We list the nearest large city for privacy.
Is drop-off or other technical help available?
Portaloan is primarily self-service right now, which includes picking up and returning the item from its location. If you're unable to do this and need an accomodation, we will try our best to meet your needs!
How long can I borrow an item for?
We're currently experimenting with different durations, so stay tuned for more information. In the mean time, request however long you'd like.
What is the N95 companion module? When would I use it?
The n95 companion has a particle classifier so that only particles of a certain size are selected. It's intended for use with filter medium that would fail n99 mode. A common mask you might use it with is a Flomask which routinely fail n99 mode. The n95 mode functions as a seal check for these masks so that you know if they're leaking vs testing how effective the filter medium is + leakage.
